NEW DERBY PLANS FOR 2001!

Weighin Board - Meredith,New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee

This year the fee is $25. There's a little twist in the running of the derby.

  1. $25 is the entry fee no matter what
  2. You can fish on Friday and any fish caught on Friday will be part of a one day derby that will not count towards the Sat & Sun derby. Friday's derby is part of the $25 fee.
  3. Saturday and Sunday will be the normal running of the Great Rotary Ice Derby. It is our understanding that all rules will be the same as last year.

They eat the lead with pebbles and gravel to grind up their food. Buying steel sinkers is a small price to pay for the preservation of the loons in NH! As of January 1st, 2000 there will be NO LEAD WEIGHTS 1 ounce or less allowed on NH waters!

NO BASS ALLOWED IN ICE FISHING DERBIES! DO NOT BRING ANY TO WEIGH IN!
